Breaking down barriers to access life-changing benefits of CBD

We are a non-profit organization that educates the public and lawmakers regarding the health benefits of Cannabidiol – better known as CBD.

CBD, which is derived from the hemp plant, does not cause a "high" and is not toxic or addictive.

WHO WE ARE

Caregivers, physicians, veterans, athletes, businesses, and the voices of many others who make up the 45 million Americans who use CBD and deserve access to trusted CBD products.

WHAT WE’RE
WORKING
TOWARD

Passage of federal legislation granting the U.S. Food and Drug Administration authority to regulate CBD products as dietary supplements will ensure that tens of millions of parents, athletes, seniors, veterans, and others who rely on CBD will continue to have access and the confidence that what they are using is to the standard of quality that they deserve.

ISSUES

  • In 2018, Congress removed hemp—and its byproducts—from the statutory definition of marijuana, making CBD available in all 50 states.

  • However, the FDA does not currently regulate CBD.

  • The 45 million Americans who use CBD need assurance of the safety and quality of their products.
